Sabrina Sanchez, CEO and Founder
Sabrina has more than 25 years of technology, marketing and communications experience, having worked with over 100 leading storage, cloud and virtualization companies in both the private and public sectors. As CEO, she is responsible for the company’s vision, business development, and overall client satisfaction. In 2010, she co-founded the Ventana New Media Engine, the industry’s first SEO-powered publishing solution that delivers an integrated social media marketing platform. Prior to Ventana, Sabrina spent the first part of her career at Hewlett Packard as an IT Manager and was responsible for the roll out of SAP across global procurement operations. Sabrina received her bachelor of arts degree in Business Management at Saint Mary’s College. She loves hanging out with her family at their casita in Puerto Vallarta and riding her quarter horse Lad around the Virginia countryside.
Joe Austin, Vice President
Joe joined Ventana Public Relations in 2006 and has more than 15 years experience in high-tech strategic communications for both startups and billion-dollar enterprises. He is a seasoned communications pro whose specialties include communications strategy, corporate and product positioning, launch planning and execution, anti-competitive strategies and content marketing. Joe’s domain expertise is heavy in storage, security, virtualization and cloud technologies. He has a significant background supporting initiatives in the channel and managed services space. Joe developed the Ventana New Media Engine, an SEO-powered content marketing platform, to support brand awareness, web-based lead generation and social community building for Ventana clients. Joe received his bachelor of science degree from UCLA and enjoys outdoor activities with his family.
Denise Nelson, Vice President
Denise’s blend of PR, marketing and technology expertise spans more than 20 years in both business-to-business and consumer markets. She joined Ventana in 2006, and is responsible for client services and account management, marketing, and operations. Denise has worked with senior marketing executives and CEOs of high tech companies on communications strategy and planning, message development, competitive and thought leadership initiatives, and numerous company/product launches. She’s orchestrated PR and marketing campaigns for companies across mobile computing/wireless, information management, cloud/virtualization, and enterprise software technologies. Denise has a bachelor of arts degree in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Out of the office, she can be found hiking, enjoying jazz or classical music, cooking vegan meals, or spending time with her husband, two daughters, two Dalmatians, and two cats.
